Digital Camera & Uploading Photos

I am going to be traveling in Amsterdam, Paris, the Champagne & Burgundy regions in France, as well as all over Italy.

My dilemma is my digital camera and laptop. I don't want to take my laptop - however, I need somewhere to upload photos because I know I'll be trigger happy.

Are there lots of places to upload photos to a CD? Like photoshops almost like we have here in Walmart and London Drugs? If not, would anyone who has traveled recommend buying a VERY large memory stick and waiting till I get home? I really don't want to lose my photos and had a friend say she had a lot of trouble finding somewhere that would upload to make a photo CD.
