do i need a return ticket if...?

hi id like to go and live in Manchester for a while and wait for my girlfriend to finish her schooling. id like to know if im required to have a return ticket already purchased when i land in Manchester.

im a EU citizen and have worked there previously, but this time im not sure when im going to be coming back.

anyone out there know any info about me living there for a lil while?

as an eu citizen, u can stand in the immigration queue that moves quickly and do not need to have a return ticket (i'm not 100% sure about romanians and bulgarians, but it's certainly true for everyone else). to be on the safe side, bring evidence of funds available to u during ur stay, such as ur last bank statement.
