Do I need a visa?

Do I need a visa?

Postby jolly_folly » Mon Jan 05, 2009 4:22 pm

I'm planning on doing a trip to europe this spring or fall and was wondering if I need any travel visas. The countries I plan to visit are Spain, France, Italy. I plan on staying for no more then 4 weeks in each country and all together should be back within 80 days. I am born and raised in Canada.

Thanks

If you're a Canadian citizen you don't need a visa because all of those countries are in the Shengen Zone. Within Europe, Canadians only need a visa for Russia and Belarus. We don't need visas for Shengen countries i.e EU countries.
Here is a map of where Canadians do and do not need a visa: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/e ... saFree.PNG
Have a nice trip!

cheers
