Do I need tax information for Ancestry Visa application?

Post Thu Jun 19, 2008 2:13 pm

Hello.I've been reading and researching everything I need to do inorder to apply for my Ancestry Visa.

Just now.I cam across someone saying that a person should have tax information from the Canadian Government as well.

Does anyone know if this is a requirement?

I'm ready to file and want to leave to the UK just as soon as I get clearance. I do not have income tax right up to date.
will that be a problem?

puffalump,

Tax information has been recommended in the past to show/demonstrate earning potential. It is not a requirement to submit it for the Ancestry application, just a ways of proving ability to support yourself. :0)

Hope that helps!
Lynndyhop.

I'm not an American! I am a Canadian. I come from a "nice", thoroughly unrealistic country.
