Do I qualify to work in the US?

I currently hold a 2 year Canadian Computer Network Technician diploma and have 3 years experience as a Computer Network Support technician. During my employment at my old job my main issues I addressed were supporting end users, maintaining servers, scripting, and many other duties. There is no specific duty other then supporting end users.

I was wondering if I can apply for a job in the US that is similar and I could still obtain a TN Visa. I guess the question is, would a job with so many different duties fall under Computer Analyst or something different?

My husband got in on a TN visa and he's a senior systems analyst but I don't think that that exact title is on the NAFTA list - there is something similar and if you get a job your letter of employment has to have the exact job title that is on the NAFTA list. There are also certain pieces of info that have to be in the letter - company name and address, direct supervisor's name, salary, and a few other things. Immigration also asks him for his transcripts and want to see his original diploma (he goes to renew it every year). If you don't have a University degree, you need more years of experience to apply - there is some funky calculation. Not sure if the College diploma is enough but I'm sure you can find out. We live in Windsor Ontario and he crosses into Detroit everyday.

Correction - my husband says "systems analyst" is on the list but "programmer" isn't. Anyway, you just have to watch what job title they give you.
