Here's a question i haven't seen answers too, though I've only just started looking! I live in Ontario and am planning a move to Edinburgh area (working holiday). Now what happens when you need a checkup with a doctor or dentist? Is it covered in insurance, is it free?! lol Ive absolutely no idea, and can they fill out your prescriptions for you? Thinking of a move in 6 months so i thought Id better start thinking about this! thanks

Hey.just wanted to let you know that once you find a doctor, you should be covered bc you are on a working holidaymaker visa. I just got a doctor in the area and i can get refills on my prescriptions as long as i made an appointment.
