Does it get harder to get a Tn Visa after having many?

I have heard that there is no maximum on the amount of Tn visas you can get but I am curious as to how this works in real life. If someone has been in the States for 10 years on a TN visa every year, ...

I lived in the US on a TN visa for 5 years and it was neither harder nor easier each year. It all depended on the immigration officer I got.

It should not be an issue at all. There is no statutory time limit on holding a TN. However, management consultants have difficulty renewing after one year because of the inherent temporariness associated with the work. Of course, some management consultants work on projects that can last for years.

Should not be an issue. One of the requirements is that your intention is to return to Canada - that this is not permanent.

This is highly subjective and you should always be aware of how you answer Officer's questions. Accidentally, saying the wrong thing may cause a problem for you.

So, be aware of all the requirements, have your documentation in order and be prepared for the border interview.

Good luck

It just surprises me that this process is so subjective. I think they just look at it carefully the first time but renewals on TN should be a breeze and not subject to any further scrutiny. I do not understand this behavior by the US officers. Answering any question the wrong way and one is in trouble ? I think the documentation is the key but this 'subjective' and 'unpredictability' makes me stressed enough already that i am not sure if I need more of it.

30 days to leave the country and it goes on and on. Toxic to me.
