Greetings,
I hope someone can help me understand how best to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
I am a US citizen employed as a writer and independent consultant and my husband is a long-haul truck driver.
My husband will remain in the States for 2 years after I immigrate with our son, and continue supporting us and visiting once a month, as he does now.
I'm not certain whether I should apply as a self-employed person or as a skilled worker, since I don't need to seek work in Canada and will continue working for US firms as a consultant. Do I qualify as a self-employed person (I don't work in "the Arts" per se).
Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!
