I can't speak for you or anyone else, but my husband does not wear a suit when going to a POE to obtain entry in TN status. We both dress in what would be considered business casual.

Go with clean businessy pants, blazer, just don't overdo it. Business casual. My fave is a black turtleneck, business jacket, clean pants, clean shoes. No jeans. No t-shirts. No sandals or flip-flops.
