Driving car through Canada Border to US loaded on Truck

Hi All,
I am married to US Citizen with perm res card. I am looking to DRIVE my mint condition 2003 Pontiac Sunfire across the Vancouver border to Seattle. From there I will load the car onto a truck which will bring the car to Newport RI.

Does anyone know what I will need to cross the border as far as paperwork, and what I would have to pay?
From what I researched, the pontiac was manufacture in US.

I have heard things from I may have to get my odometer changed, to
needing to get safe emmission papers from the dealership.

Any advice would be helpful, and I thank you all in advance!
