first chat, first post.

born in toronto to american citizens. at some point my parents had me "choose" u.s. citizenship -long after the family returned. all this time, per oath of allegiance and u.s. cit. propaganda, i thought i had lost can. cit. over the years i had ocassionally looked into "regaining" can. cit. but had never thought of researching can. cit. law. had only read up on the u.s. side.

as it happens, can. does not recognise u.s. refutation of former cit. apon naturalization. so, i have applied for can. cit. i.d. card. and am planning a return. will probably take a bout 12 mos. to make the move, all things considered.

i've been brushing up on all things canada and would love to get to know some canucks. its been 20+ years since.

currently in santa barbara ca.
