Dual citizen travelling on British Passport

Post Sun Apr 25, 2010 7:46 pm

I have just stumbled upon this forum, I'm in a bit of a pickle, I'm travelling to the UK on the 29th, and I just opened my canadian passport to realize it expired at the beginning of the month.. Now I am a dual citizen and still have a valid British passport, my question to you is am I going to run into trouble getting back onto canadian soil not having a canadian passport? What sort of identification should I take with me?

Thanks for all of your help! and I'm glad to be apart of this community

You can travel on your UK passport.

Carry prrof that you are Cdn citizen for your return, like your old passport.
