Alright - I am assuming you are trying to get your UK citizenship and are already Canadian, right? I've answered your question as if that is the situation, so I hope I read your question right
I found a website that was immensely helpful when I was trying to determine if I was eligible for a British passport and if I had dual nationality already. I am STILL unable to post the link as I haven't made 10 posts here yet (hopefully this is my tenth!) but I will pm you the address right now.
It's on the page that explains how you are eligible for dual citizenship. You are almost the same age as me, so I suspect you already have your UK citizenship from birth. I am 23 and I already had it. All I had to do was prove my lineage with my long form birth certificate and I was able to apply for a British passport (which by the way was an amazingly painless and quick experience. Easier than getting a Canadian passport even!)
If you have any other questions about the process, let us know! I just went through this a few months ago, and I know a few others on here did or are right now as well.
