E-2 for Canadian Citizens

Post Sun Oct 28, 2007 7:04 pm

Hello

What is usual investment amount for Canadian to receive E-2 visa?

Are there any differences between Canadian and other nation for getting E-2 visa?
I heard that US require about $200,000 investment to get E-2 for other countries while US consider around $35,000 to $50,000 for Canadian citizens.

Is it true?

Doesn't look like it: http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/temp/w ... _1260.html

But on the flip side if this is right you don't need $200,000 anyway: http://www.expertlaw.com/library/immigr ... visas.html

There is no magic number, it depends on what you are investing in. For service-based investments we've seen investments of $50,000 approved. A minimum of $200,000 is not accurate.
