Hi again-well my heritage is English and I took your good luck as being tongue in cheek, so I apologise for that.
We are going to Wakefield first until end of September and then to Warwick area.for the business anyway. We love Rhode Island, been going there since 1988.glad that they have the Tims there, althought Newport Creamery is very sparse now. There is one in North Longston but the one is Warwick shut down.

has there been a change in the E-2 residency status?

No. E-2 is dual-status inasmuch as you can change status to LPR if you got married or transferred to another status. I'm not clear on what the original idea behind this suggestion was, because you can move from E-2 to LPR by having a large enough business, change status to EB-5, immigrant investor.
