Alright, I want to move to the States, and I've read tons of ways I can do it, but I have no real clue where to start, so here's my situation, I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I'm 26, and have 2 post-secondary diplomas. One in Pure & Applied Sciences and one in 3D Animation for Video Games. I'm currently finishing a double-major at University in English Literature & Linguistic Sciences (2 years left).

I have 2 years of computer experience (I did computer work for Bombardier), and I'm currently doing Online Adverstising for a website (1 year so far, full time), and doing 3D animations for a film production company (also 1 year, part time).

I've got family down in California, where I'd like to move, but I don't think they're closely related enough for the government. It's my grandmother's sister (great Aunt, I believe), and her children (Aunt, once removed) & grandchildren (2nd cousins). It doesn't seem like that's close enough to make a case for, although I know they'd love to sponsor my immigration if they could.

Now, after reading all over the place about visas, I figure the best option would be to apply for TN Status once I graduate University, and as soon as I start working in the States, apply for a H-1B, since it might take a while to get. Once I get that, I revoke my TN Status, and stay in the US under the H-1B visa, and apply for a Green Card. Once that's approved, I start down the path of Naturalization.

Jeez that's long and complicated, with a lot of potential potholes along the way. Does anyone else have a more direct solution?
