employer sponsored visa application

employer sponsored visa application

Postby cyder45 » Sun Aug 05, 2007 12:07 pm

for anybody that did one of these, were you required to supply education forms. i only have one of two, and the other school i attended no longer exists.

i would hate for this to be a reasoning for not being approved!

if anybody has done this application, please let me know how much info is required in regards to schooling.

thanks,

james

You need to submit your diploma or degree for whichever trade or profession in which you are going to be working. For example I am a nurse. I had to supply my nursing diploma, my original registration when I graduated and my current registration (for Canada) and my registration here in Queensland. To register in Queensland I had to get my transcripts from my nursing college (BCIT) detailed ones, including my hours of theory and hours of practicum. Hope this helps. Jo

Are we talking about just photocopies of the actual diploma, or are College/ University transcripts required? Because I haven't received the formal paperwork yet and I want to rush to get this completed because of time constraints, can you tell me what else I need to supply the employer with for this 457 Visa?

I really want to get moving on this

They don't need originals, just evidence of qualifications. We faxed diploma and transcripts and they seemed content with those.

Sounds good. Do they require anything else from you besides your diploma/ transcripts, passport, proof of residence? I just want to have everything prepared.

Chest x-rays. You have to go to a special X-ray clinic that has been certified by the Australian gov't who will courier them to the place that has to look at them in Sydney.

Oh, also, you have to have the paperwork first because the X-rays have to be couriered with those papers that you fill out.
