Europe in the Winter

Hello all, I'm off to Europe for the winter it seems. I have a few concerns about the weather and if my money would be better used to arrage it for the spring. However I'm dying to leave Canada for a bit. Any advice, I figure I'll try and spend most of my time in Spain and Greece but I do have some people to visit in Ireland. My other plans are to go during the winter and work and use any money I have in the Spring. If anyone could suggest anything or give their take on Europe in the winter it'd be great.

Im just wanting to know if theres any warmer countries in the winter season? Is it worth travelling around in the winter?
