Evidence needed for spousal visa to the uk???

OK, so here's the deal Iam days away from getting my bio metrics done and having my application sent off for approval, but after I completed my online application and paid I receiceved a confirmation email, yet again stating more doccuments that need to be submitted with my application, I have tons of stuff including picstures personal cards from family (tons) emails, also tons of those, proof of my husbands job (royal air force) wadge slips, his passport, proof of an address in the uk, my own passport, tickets and itinerearys from visiting, photo's and all sorts, HOWEVER, in my email it stated that I need a written letter from my "sponsor" giving me permission to live there?????, that would have been information that would have been useful to have gotten when I was there ( I just returned 7 days ago from London), so needless to say, Iam sitting here in Canada waiting for the mail to come, my husband had to write the letter and priority mail it here.

Iam now wondering if anybody else has any helpful advice on eveidence that needs to be submitted with my application, I thought I had everything I could possibly need and more but I guess I was missing something very crutial. Anyone with experiance that has gone through this with a sucsesful outcome your information on HOW would be great
