I did a booboo, and left my ancestry visa renewal too late [one week over]. I then had to leave the country to go back home [dad passed away]
Yesterday upon return, i was given a grace extension of 2
months at Gatwick. The immigration said I have a 10% chance of getting a new ancestry visa seeing I left mine to expire. [I relied on speedy post
and left it too late] My question is is she right? Has anyone been in this mess? I am getting married to a Brit, so I am thinking that I must go back to Canada to apply. One Last question; My fiance works at a
job for 6£ an hour, I am a professional musician making ok money, will they recognize the husbands income?
thanks folks
