Expired Working Holiday Visa

Post Tue Jan 09, 2007 10:32 am

My Working Holiday Visa expired in December of 2006. I am planning a trip to visit the UK for two weeks in May of this year. Will I have any problems with my expired Working Holiday Visa in my passport? Should I get a new Passport that doesn't have the Visa stuck in it? I want to avoid any problems. Thanks for the advice.

I know that the United States of America is lenient on Canadians, but even with the English Queen on our money, we are still as much of a foreigner as a Japanese would be as Canadians! I often wondered who gives more hassle, the Japanese to the Gaijin, or the British does to Canadians even though we are commonwealth citizens? I heard few cases where a few other Canadians had less hassle in Japan than in the UK! What is the value of us Canadians having the English Queen on our money? We have absolutely no more rights in the UK than a Japanese!
