Extending My Travel Insurance

Help!

I was going to come to Melbourne from Edmonton for 6 months and purchased an insurance policy for that. But now I am not going home til next April!

I know that ALberta Health may cancel your policy if you have been out of the procince for six months, How do I extend this? Did I have to do it before I left?

Google their website, I'm sure the information is posted there. I dunno about Alberta health, but OHIP has a form to fill out on their website for extensions.
