I am married to an Egyptian. We have been married 19 months. I spent much of the first year with him in Egypt but have remained in England since last July apart from a holiday to visit him in December. He visited me from late August until late October on a 6 month Family visitors visa sponsored by my sister. I cannot sponsor him because I have low income etc... Can my sister, his sister in law, sponsor him to come and live with me in this country and find work? She sponsored him on the 6 month visitors visa and that was ok. She wants to do this but is it possible? She is willing to financially support him while he finds work as I am unable to do this. My income is sick benefit for myself and Child tax credit and family allowance for my daughter from a previous relationship. I have no savings but am negociating a settlement from a previous partner, who I was not married to and left prior to my marriage to my Egyptian husband,of about £40000 via solicitors but this may take quite some time as a property which is in our joint names has to be sold to pay me out.
