Fiance Visa - accomodation

Post Thu Jan 19, 2012 3:20 pm

UK Immigration states

each of the parties intends to live permanently with the other as his or her spouse after the marriage
adequate maintenance and accommodation without recourse to public funds will be available for you and any dependents until the date of the marriage
there will, after the marriage be adequate accommodation for the parties and any dependants without recourse to public funds in accommodation which they own or occupy exclusively

Does this mean that the applicant should not live with the sponsor until marriage has taken place? If they do and the sponsor is on benefits, these might be affected? What then?

Confused!

thanks

It worked for me... we got a letter from the people saying we were living there until our flat was finished being built and then a copy of their mortgage!

best of luck to you!

Thank you Kirk! After the sweats and anxieties we got our visa yesterday! Took 5 working days, hope to post something on here about our process soon!
