Fiancee Visa Check

Post Sat Apr 25, 2009 5:52 am

Hey Everyone, I had asked GlobalVisa to do my visa but they screwed us around and now I find in the next week I have to have all my i's dotted and my t's crossed correctly. I have been in Birmingham England for 6 months now, was engaged to my British honey in Jan and we have a wedding date booked for Aug 1 this year, so I have to be back by July 15, at the very latest. I have gotten everything I can from here I think, and have more stuff at home. Emails and MSN convos are on my computer there, and a few pics. Can anyone just tell me if anything is missing, if there are things I could/should add to make this a done deal please, and maybe I can sleep at night....

I have:
Certified copies of his Passport and Birth Cert.
Flight details and his Visa stamp when he came to Canada
My Divorce Decree (cert copy)
Insurance and Tenancy agreement for this apt in Birm
Letter from his employer
6 months pay stubs and P60 for last year
6 months his bank statements
proof of relationship sales bill for dryer in my name, postcard from parents (one to me and one to us)my flight receipt, courier bill with my name on it, valentines and birthday card, joint bank acct.

This weekend we will do letters, he is asking his mom to also write one, and my mom is as well. I have pictures we will be printing out, but very few of us together. (Hard to do sometimes when its just 2!!) Also waiting on the Wedding confirmation and his savings acct letter.

Is there anything else at all that I can do to guarentee this. Golbal told me that it was guarenteed but the way my life goes, Im afraid that something will go wrong, and they will refuse me. That wouldnt be a happy day for me!!

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Hi Kat,
I don't know why they told you it was guaranteed because that is not true, it depends if you meet all the requirements,etc..

So it is the marriage visa you are applying for (to come to the UK and get married and then return to Canada) or some other kind of visa?
