Film biz info in the UK

Hi,

My partner and I are thinking of moving over to London. My partner is British citizen, having moved to Vancover as a child. He works as a locations manager on an American show that is filmed here, and he is hoping to find similar work in the film biz in the UK.

Although he has researched a few websites, we are looking for any first-hand information. We would like to settle in London, but since I have lived there before we are both aware of the insane cost of living in the city. But, are thinking there may be more film work / production companies in London.

If anyone has any info to share, please let me know. I have become quite the anglophile myself and am looking forward to heading back over to the UK. Even though Vancouver is gorgeous, I very much miss the London lifestyle.
