Start looking now - Look at the overseas jobs page and go through to monster and hotjobs..They have UK job listings too and a lot of them

Depending on the level of job you're looking for, I would try and find temporary work in your field via an employment agency in London. Might not be the jobs of your dreams but it'll get you started.

There are plenty of ads for these agencies in the free mags which you can pick up on the street. TNT, which is aimed at Aussies/Kiwis, has a particularly good selection and features agencies accustomed to dealing with applicants from other countries, but other free mags such as 9-5, Midweek are worth a look too.

Not sure if any of these publications have an internet presence, but it might be worth a search.
