finding a job in the US

I wanna possibly move to the states for a year for the experience and to buy my dream car which isnt admissable into canada. I know u need a job lined up b4 u can get a work visa. How do I find a job like this? Are there n e sites lookin for canadians or anything to help me out? I find it difficult to find a decent job for the US on monster b/c there gearing it for US residents.

Worst case, n e way i can get my dream car plated and bring it up to AB? I know crossing the border is my issue. I wanna get a California License or Nevada license but its hard, i have places to reg/insure them to, too.

Someone has had to have been in my shoes and conquered this battle.very frustrating i must tell u
