Flying back to Canada

Post Mon May 09, 2011 1:54 pm

Hi there,
This is my first post here but just a general thanks for the various stories to anyone who posted information and advice about getting fiancee/spouse visas in the UK. It was really helpful for my wife and me and took some of the stress out of the process.

Anyway, we now have a possible minor problem. My wife, who is the Canadian citizen, wants to fly back at the beginning of June to Calgary with Air Transat but her Canadian passport expires mid-July. Will this be a problem for either the airline or the immigration officers at the other end? I'm sure I'm being paranoid but the airline customer services didn't really answer us clearly when we asked about it and we can't really afford to have to buy another ticket.
Thanks for any help!

This is not a problem.
