Flying from Toronto to Las Vegas while on TN Visa

Hello All,
I'm a Canadian and currently hold a 3 year TN Visa. I work and live in Pennsylvania. I have two weeks of vacation time left which I would like to take in the last two weeks of December. so I will be returning to Toronto for two weeks during the holidays.

A friend of mine is encouraging me to go to with him to Vegas while i'm on my vacation in Toronto. He likes us to fly from Toronto to Vegas direct and then come back to Toronto also.

so my question here , as a TN Visa holder , is there an issue with me traveling from Canada to USA while I'm on my vacation in Toronto. I heard sometimes they take the I-94 card away when boarding flights. Is it better if I just fly from buffalo?

Who cares if they (I assume you are talking about airline personel) would take it.

Carry a copy of the I-94 and the border will always reissue you a new I-94.

actually I'm talking about the US officers If they will take it because I'm flying to the states not to go to work but for vacation.
so what do I tell them if they asked me "you are living in the states and working there, why are you flying from Toronto to Vegas". I went on many trips inside the US but this is my first time from Canada to US on TN Visa.
by the way I cross the border every couple of weeks to spend the weekend in canada and then go back on Sunday night , didn't had any issues so far with that.
I would like to book my flight with expedia but I'm waiting for an answer before I book

You tell them you are on vacation. TNers are allowed vacation.

If your I-94 has the words "multiple entry", then you can hang on to it. Many Canadians have had problems where the flight attendent at the check in counter will take it not realizing that it is a multiple entry version. For this, its best to staple the I-94 to one of your passport pages.

If your I-94 does not have "multiple entry" stamped on it, then you will simply obtain a new one each time you enter the U.S. There should be no concern in either situation. Its more a matter of convenience of not having to fill out a new I-94 request each time.
