FREAKING OUT...someone please ease my brain (Ancestry visa)

Hey all,
I applied for an ancestry visa a week ago (biometrics etc. in Toronto). I just received an email saying that "your application must be referred to the Home Office in the UK in order to make further checks because you currently hold another UK valid visa". Now in all my research, I found that for my new visa and for me to stay in the UK i needed to apply prior to the exp. date the current one. I am now freaking out cause I need to go back to the UK at the end of August...
Someone please advise and hopefully ease my mind...

Hi, I have literally the exact same problem right now. I applied on the 4th of August and got the exact same reply from the Immigration people in Ottawa. I can't help you out with information but hopefully it eases your mind to know that it's not just you.
