german Canadian Tire?

Post Sat Nov 17, 2007 12:33 pm

What's the equivalent of Canadian Tire in Germany? I'm looking for a place where I can buy an air filter for my car.

I was going to say BauHaus, but I think they are more like a home depot.

Maybe KaufHof? I'm not sure if they have an automotive section. When I lived in Germany I didn't have a car :)

Do you have a WalMart near you?

I doubt that kaufhof has air filters for cars and there are no more walmarts in germany, theyre called "real,-" now and I also doubt that they have an automotive section. Where do the germans buy car parts? I cant believe that they dont have anything like a Canadian Tire

Just as an info. beware where you put your used oil. I think they are more strict than in Canada for things like that.
