I have a bachelor's degree in architecture from Canada and I have worked in jobs in Toronto and Montreal. Among them was building inspection and reserve funds.
A reserve specialist prepares financial statements but needs a degree in engineering/architecture/construction management. So I won't be "designing new buildings" as an architect.
From USCIS website, they say:
To qualify for TN visa status under NAFTA as an Architect, an applicant must possess one of the following:
1. Bachelor degree;
2. Licenciatura Degree;
3. State License; or
4. Provincial License.
8 C.F.R. § 214.6 (c).
Do I file it under the above? I heard that border officers are very picky that job descriptions match offers and categories - and vise versa.. Want to do it the right way.
Thanks for any help!
