I am trying to determine if I can release funds in a locked in pension. I left Canada almost 5 years ago. I have no intention of moving back in the forseeable future, and would love to withdraw this money (paying the tax of course). There seems to be different rules for each province. In this case my bank is in Ontario (Mississauga). Does anyone have any knowledge or experiance with this? Thanks.
