Hello,
I am a Canadian who was been working in Ireland for the past 3 years. 1 year on a working holiday visa and 2+ years on an Irish green card. I have paid thousands of euros in income taxes to the Irish government over the past 3 years.
I am moving to the UK in September. My Grandfather was born in the UK, so I qualify for a working visa. I only hold Canadian citizenship. I will be leaving Ireland permanently.
I have a few questions:
1. Do I qualify to get any or all of my Irish income taxes back?
2. Am I able to get VAT back on any retail purchases?
Thanks!
