Getting married in Malaysia...

Whassup everyone ... wonder if anyone can tell me the following:
I'm a Canadian studying in Malaysia ... I'm gonna be going to the US to work in a few months, and I wanted my fiancee to come with me. She's from Mauritius, so she can't just hop over to the US or Canada without a visa. I was just wondering-> what is the easiest way for her to come with me?

Can I apply for a "fiancee visa" for her when I go to the US to work?

If I try to sponsor her for immigration to Canada, is there a preference for a spouse over partner or common-law partner?

Does anyone have any idea how long it takes for the sponsorship for immigration to go through?

I've heard that credit rating in Canada won't affect your sponsorship unless you've declared bankruptcy in Canada. I haven't declared bankruptcy, but I have bad credit. Will this affect the sponsorship?
