Go to Canada and get married there, it is a lot easier.
That's what we did.
Your boyfriend won't need any special paperwork as you will here in Germany.

Exactly what I was going to say. I got married in NS and when I went to city hall to get the paperwork done, all they needed was my wife's name. No paperwork or anything. At the actual Justice of the Peace I think all she needed was one form of ID - a passport I believe. All told it took 5 days from City Hall to we were married. Could even have been as short as 2 days, but we needed to get rings made.
My wife was amazed and said it would never have been so simple in Germany.
Cheers, Angus

. oh, if you're coming back to Germany, you'll need the marriage certificate 'translated(?)'. We went to the German Consulate in Halifax ("Honorary German Consulate Jim McLeod :), open Thursday afternoons or by appointment :D :D) and he stamped the paperwork which we had to show the Amt für Öffentlicheordnung in Germany.
