Getting Married while on TN in USA

Hi All,

I'm currently on a TN visa and expect to be renewed into a 3 year TN in the next few weeks. I am going to be proposing to my American girlfriend here in PA where I live in june sometime, and we would be getting married next year.

How will that work? If I'm on a 3 year TN until 2012, what process would I take once we're officially married to switch into a more permanent status?

Once you're married, you can file for adjustment of status for a green card and work authorization and advanced parole.
