Getting UK Passport question

Hi there.

A question, inspired by that response. My mother was born in Scotland, and I was born in Canada in 1963. I was once told I was ineligible for a UK passport because it only passed down patrilineally. Has this changed? Am I eligible now?

You are in the same position as my sister and me. We got British citizenship. All it took was a lot of money and some time. Look for "UKM" forms on the BritaininCanada web site.
