Going to Canada

Hey guys

I'm a Canadian citizen and I'm going back home on Sunday after my 2 year working holiday visa. My problem is . my partner is Englishand he is planning on immigrating to Canada with me.

There are a few options like a working holiday maker visa (BUNAC) for 1 year or we qualify as common law so could apply under the Family Class for a visa that way.

But what I'd like to know is if he can begin working in Canada (I'll be working but I won't make enough) WHILE his visa application is in progress. OR . if he has a job offer in Canada, can he apply for a normal work visa with the job offer?

With me leaving in a few days, we want to have him joining me in Canada ASAP!
