Going to Egypt

This is my first time on here and thought I might be able to get some of my questions answered. Last year, I met someone from Egypt (online) and didn't take long for us to develop feelings for each other. Around Christmas he proposed and we've been together (somewhat) for over a year now. I've been seriously contemplating travelling to Egypt for some time now. For the most part I would love to see the country and visit as many places as I can, but another reason I want to go is so I can marry my fiance. The only concern I have is, this is the first time I've ever done something like this.

Could someone tell me the procedures for a marriage in Egypt? What papers would I need to bring? And would there be any difficulties in bringing him back here? I just want everything to turn out and hopefully nothing will go wrong. I just want some information on what I need to bring so I have everything prepared.

You should consult a lawyer or the services of a notary since the latest news (as of May 12, 2007) from the U.S. Consular Section of the Embassy is that the Consular Section is not providing the confirmation required by the Egyptian Government to authorize the marriage of a foreigner in Egypt.
