hey everyone, I'm new here, I'm currently in Slovakia with my wife and we're looking at going to the UK this summer, (June to Sept) and we'd like to know if there is anyone who can help us with accomodations or finding a job? or just any info would be great.
Thanx

Hiya!

Are you looking for all over the UK or somewhere specific? And what kind of work? Do you have visas? Or are you looking for under the table work?

Thanx for the reply,

We would take any type of work, preferably something decent :) And since I don't know much about the UK we would work anywhere. London, York, Oxford, Cambridge etc. or small town or village would be fine too.
My wife who is Slovak can work in the UK and I applied for the EEA Family Permit yesterday, should I get it then it would allow me to work in the UK legally. If not then I would take under the table work. Any help would be great :)
thank you

www.gumtree.com is great for finding short term accommodation in London.

You might want to consider working in a pub where you get room and board. I know a few people who do this. Gum Tree also posts jobs for this so have a look.

Best of luck!

Thanx for the website, I had a look just now and it looks promising. I'll get to sending some emails for jobs and then take it from there.

thanx again.
