gold coast

I'll possibly live to gold coast, and I will buy a house, (a house not a flat...). I would like to which areas are the best to live with my family, every 'hood is possible, plz help me

Hi - we used to live in Pacific Pines when we first came down to the Gold Coast - really wasn't our cup of tea to be honest - we bought a house up on Mount Tamborine - amazing!! rainforest on a mountain top, wineries, distillery, restaurants, no piped in water so everyone is on water tanks, no street lights and not one traffic light - you do get alot of tourists though - and it has one of best rated schools up there which is actually why we chose there.
But it's not really gold coast - it's between gold coast and brisbane...
