Graphic Designer TN1 lack of 3yrs experience HELP!!

hi guys, i have a BFA major photography from an accredited university in Canada (Emily Carr University of Art and Design) and a vocational certificate in Communications from California (also an accredited school)~
I am currently on my OPT and it's about to expire by the end of June 2009. Right now I am employed as a video/web graphic designer and I'm thinking of applying for the TN1 visa under the "Graphic Designer" category but realize that I need have 3 years of experience in order to be qualified... I have only about 1.5 years of experience in graphic, will this imply a huge difficulty when its time for me to apply for my TN1? Are there other alternatives that some of you might know out there??

Since you have a bachelor's degree, you don't need the 3 years work experience. You are only required to have the 3 years of work experience if you have only a two-year college diploma. However, since your degree was not explicitly in graphic design, they might want to see that you took relevant courses while in university.
