Green Card/Business in Canada

I hope someone can answer my question. Can I have a green card for the US and still operate my business in Canada. I would be working in both countries. Thanks, Kenkor

That's difficult to determine. While as an LPR you need to maintain your primary residence in the United States, you can spend time in Canada without abandoning your LPR status. Some folks get re-entry permits to prevent problems at the border. How often would you be in Canada versus the U.S.?

we are looking to purchase an existing business in florida. My husband is just in the process of getting the i-140 and 765. He would still like to keep the business in Canada and work here, but be able to work in the US and keep the new business going there. What are the restrictions in entering Canada if he works in FLA for 2 days/month and the rest in Canada?
