Green card questions - Mr. Rizzo help!

Post Fri Jan 04, 2008 2:17 pm

Hello,
I need some advice on how to go about obtaining a green card. I'm a Canadian citizen currently living and working in Canada. I would like to immigrate to the US permanently. I have a Honours Bachelor's degree in Science and a Master's degree in Health Administration. What is the best way to go about immigrating? I understand that both H1 and Eb class visas have immigrant intent. Which one is most suitable in my case? I do not want to try for a TN as I believe I don't qualify and I want to immigrate - not work there temporarily.

Thank you!
Sheri

H-1B is actually dual intent. TN is nonimmigrant but you can do the TN to green card, I've explained this in other posts. Not sure what you mean by Eb, do you mean E visa? (Es are treated as dual intent)

Couldn't find it in my search
Many thanks
