h1B visa stamping for a permanent resident

Hello everyone,
I am so glad to have found this forum. I am an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Canada. MY husband is a canadian citizen. I work in US on an HI visa and need to get my first H1B stamping done in Canada. My question is how hard it is to get first visa stamping in Canada. I was on J1 visa visa earlier, which was also issued in Canada. Also, if my H1B stamping gets rejected, will I be able to enter US?
Thanks
Sally

If you are a PR in Canada, getting H1 stamped should not be a big issue.

A friend of mind from India got his H1 application rejected in Montreal. He went for H1 stamping to Canada on visitor visa. He was not allowed to come back to the U.S. and he had to go back to India and his company hired some lawyers who accompanied him to US consulate in Chennai and he got his H1 issued there.

Depends on why the visa got rejected, if you don't meet the requirements and you want to enter later as a legitimate visitor, it shouldn't matter (as long as you comply with the visitor requirements obviously, I can't remember if Indians require a B visa).

Previously Indian PR in Canada did not require a visitor visa. But since 17Mar2003, they do in case they wanted to visit the U.S.
