Health coverage on a WHM Visa

Post Fri Jun 08, 2007 11:12 am

HI There.

Just wondering what happens when i go over to Scotland to teach with health coverage. Can a WHM visa qualify for heath coverage in the UK for the two years I will be there or do i have to find other arrangements from Canada.

Thanks for your input!

yes with a visa you will have access to the NHS, no need for more insurance (just when you travel back to Canada or somewhere else)

If Scotland is the same as England then all you have to do is find a local doctor (and register with them), you will probably need some documentation to prove your address and visa status.
