Help: Am I eligable for UK passport or citizenship?

Hi,

I have read UK emigration web site and I find it very confusing (most info seems to relate only to those born post 1983?) so I am hoping someone can give me some help. I am a Canadian citizen born in Canada in 1981. My father is a UK citizen by birth (also holds Canadian citizenship).

I would like to know if I am eligible for a UK passport or citizenship?

Yes you are eligible for something definately for an ancestry visa, as that's the one I've researched the most, not sure about the others.

However as your father was born in the UK you should have no problem obtaining right of abode.
