Help:Can I arrive in UK a day earlier than Visa issue date?

Hey Everyone,

I just got my visa today and I want to leave a day or 2 earlier than the date my visa is supposed to be valid- which means I will getw there a day earlier than the visa is valid. I want to leave on July 27 2010 and arrive on July 28th. I dont want to be denied entry if I arrive on the 28th rather than the 29th. I put on the application date that I want to travel on July 29th but I see that tickets are alot cheaper on July 27th. I should have given my self a few more days, and out July 24 rather than July 29th.

Several professionals told me that the date I recieve the visa is the date the 2 yrs begins.. this isn't the case.It is actually the date you say you want to travel*

Also, are Tier 5 visa holders supposed to book return flights rather than one way? I fin it is cheaper to book a 2 way,return flight.
